Showing up prepared keeps the day focused on training. Here's everything you need to bring — and what we ask you to leave at home.

  • Permit & Firearm

    • Valid NY State pistol permit required
    • Bring your own firearm and ammunition
    • Allowed calibers: .380, 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP
    • Revolvers considered case-by-case — .38 special only
    • No .22 or magnum calibers
  • Gear

    • 250 rounds of ammunition
    • Belt-mounted holster — must allow one-hand draw and re-holster
    • Three magazines
    • Belt-mounted double magazine pouch
  • Safety & Apparel

    • Wraparound eyewear — polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering Rx
    • Earmuffs or earplugs
    • Long pants and fully enclosed footwear
    • Baseball-style cap with a bill recommended
    • No V-neck shirts
